FINALLY, you can have a bowl full of goo-ey, chocolate-y, caramel-y goodness for breakfast AND feel great about it. This recipe genuinely tastes like dessert, yet is a real nutrition-booster, so feel free to “treat” yourself every day. Raw cacao is a superfood packed with more antioxidants than berries and makes this recipe taste truly rich and decadent; perfect for a cold morning, a delicious snack, or when you fancy a tummy warmer! Dates are high in dietary fibre and add the caramel flavour to the recipe, whilst the crushed almonds provide a good source of animal protein & healthy fats. The complex carbs in the oats will make you feel satisfied and keep hunger at bay until lunch, so get stuck in! You can also add any other toppings you desire; I just like to keep it fairly simple so as not to overpower the chocolate flavour, but pretty much anything would taste great.
