Date, Almond & Blueberry Porridge

Serves: 1 person
  • ½ cup oats
  • 1 cup nut milk (I use almond)
  • 4 medjool dates
  • 50g blueberries
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 pinch seasalt
Toppings I used
  • Crushed almonds (personal taste) (to serve)
  • Splash of nut milk (to serve) (I use almond)
  • Honey/maple syrup/agave (to serve)
  1. Add the oats and nut milk to a saucepan.
  2. Place the saucepan over a high heat & cook the oats until soft.
  3. Chop the dates into small cubes.
  4. Add the dates, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt to the saucepan & stir.
  5. Once the porridge has thickened, turn off the heat and pour into a bowl.
  6. Serve with fresh blueberries, a splash of nut milk, crushed almonds & sweetener of your choice.
  7. Enjoy!
