Post-brunch (that was really lunch but I wish was brunch) at the epic Mad & Kaffe, Sarah, Caroline, Thomas and I decided to make the most of the gorgeous day and stroll around our favourite parts of the city.

A couple of weeks ago I flew back to the motherland for a long weekend to visit some of my favourite Danes, namely those that I went to summer school with. Since the standard reaction when I tell someone that I went to “summer school” is generally pity and an assumption that my parents wanted to punish me, let me start by assuring you that you needn’t feel sorry for me.

Please someone tell me that it’s not already April. I honestly don’t understand how it’s even possible. MY LIFE IS DISAPPEARING. On a brighter note, at least I can say that I’ve had lots of fun so far in 2016, albeit at the expense of my New Year’s resolutions (don’t worry body, April onwards is back on track).

So February has arrived and it’s officially that time of the year; the shops are overflowing with red roses, oversized cards, heart-shaped everything, chocolate selection boxes and those super soft grey teddy bears bearing wonderfully cringeworthy slogans.
